I went to Capetown last week on business for two days. Naturally I had to go and have a drink or six with DMDa......sorry Grandpa. We met in Campsbay and waited for my cousin to joun us for a quick beer or two. As i sat their enjoying the finest from Namibia I sat and tried to remepember when was the last time we saw one another.
It was to long. Damn we have not fished together in more than two years now! Even on the home front socialising with friend has gone from every now and again to maybe once every two months. Well I had not had a beer with The Soufafrican in months. Other close friends I last had a drink with was when we went hunting! WTF!!! That is 3 months ago!
I think that life in Johannesburg is showing us the bad side of life. It is time that we make some time to go out and have a drink or just a quick face to face chat every now and again.
To my friend in Isreal, Hey what can we say! Once a year if we are lucky!
